The Preamble Oath of US Citizenship

We the People of the United States of America, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure Domestic Tranquility, provide for the Common Defense, promote the General Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the  United States.

The Preamble is the first, therefore, most important portion or section of the Constitution, superseding the edicts in all of its    Articles.

In fact, without the Preamble and the active participation and execution of/by its Subjects, i.e.,  We the living People, the Constitution is merely lifeless words on the dead paper, etc.

It’s by the living, active execution of the Articles thereof, that the Constitution comes alive and lives.

As 16th US President, Abraham Lincoln says, It is for us the living” to make the Constitutional proposition work.

When confronted by bad behavior, corruption, etc., of our elected and appointed officials, the blame ultimately goes to the We the People whom are ordered “to form a more perfect Union”, as according to the Declaration of Independence, they govern by our consent.
